2012-2013 Toyota Hilux/Vigo Champ Off-Road Setups

One of the most iconic off-road vehicle that was ever built and still loved is the tough Toyota Hilux or Toyota Vigo-Champ in Asian countries.

With a growing demand for the 2012 Toyota Hilux or Vigo Champ; everyone wants who owns one wants to upgrade or modified to off-road specification.

Here are some images and list of parts that was installed on the following 2012 Toyota Hilux/Vigo-Champ; this would be a great reference to those who wants their Toyota pickup to be a one tough off-road monster.

The image below is an off road set-up done by Jeff's OFF-ROAD Performance Center from the Philippines, they called it the "Project Mulisha".


On the exterior department, the said garage use the following off-road performance parts for the 2012 Toyota Hilux/Vigo Champ: MCC Rocker front bumper; Jeff'S Off-Road rear bumper; Jeff's Off-Road side bumper; Warn SDB210 nine-inch fog-lamps; and a Warn Tabor 10,000lbs-winch.

For its suspension and brakes upgrade, they use the following parts: PROCOMP Suspension six-inch front lift; PROCOMP front adjustable coil-over; PROCOMP Mx6 rear shocks; Jeff'S Off-Road rear shackles; PROCOMP stainless steel-hose; RUNSTOP front cross drilled rotors; and G2 Gear-and-axle 4.88 gear ratio for maximum torque.

An upgrade was also made on its tire and wheels that confome to the off-road terrain; they used Nitto Trail Grappler 305x55R20 and Metal Mulisha 20x9 -0 M.Black.

Another creation done by the said garage was their project "Mastermind". They used another 2012 Toyota Hilux/Vigo Champ to transform a simple pick-up to an off-road monster; here are the list of parts that they did on the vehicle:

On the exterior department, performance parts and upgrades that was used and made are the following: ARB Deluxe Front Bumper; MCC Jack bar rear bumper; MCC Step tube; WARN SDB210 9-inch fog lamp; and PROFORM bedliner.

For its suspension and brakes upgrades, they use the following: SUN 4x4 Suspension six-inch front; SUN 4x4 Suspension six-inch rear leaf spring; TJM Suspension two-inch front coil spring; PROFENDER with reservoir front-and-rear shocks; G2 Gear-and-Axle 4.88 gear-ratio configuration; PROCOMP stainless steel braided hose; RUNSTOP rear disc braker kit; and RUNSTOP front-and-rear cross drilled rotors.

For its Tire-and-Wheels, the said pickup is equipped with NITTO Trail Grappler 35x12.SR20 and XD Series Diesel 20x10 -24 G.Black

2012 Toyota Fortuner Off-Road Setup

With a growing demand in Toyota vehicle especially the 2012 Toyota Fortuner, one thing some enthusiast will do to their Toyota Fortuner will be customizing it.

Some are getting old of setting-up their 2012 Toyota Fortuner for sounds specification (yeah those big subwoofers installed at the back and a ton of amplifiers and screens installed on it.).

Another customization for the 2012 Toyota Fortuner is setting up to an off-road specification which will brute image to the owner.

Here is one sample of a 2012 Toyota Fortuner that was set-up to an off-road specification; it's very apparent that that it is feasible to an off-road set-up because of the rigidty of its suspension and the frame layout that was used to the vehicle.


This project was called "Strike" maybe because of the striking appearance and performance; the said vehicle was a project of Jeff's OFF-ROAD Performance Center in the Philippines.

Here are the list of parts that was used on the said project--take note that some of the parts are personalized by Jeff's OFF-ROAD Performance Center: On the exterior of the vehicle, the Front bumper was from ARB; its Off-Road side step, Off-Road side rails, and Off-Road skid plate are customized exclusively by Jeff's OFF-ROAD Performance Center; a WARN SDB210 9-inch Fog lamp was added for those low visibility condition; and a SAFARI brand for the Snorkel.

Its 2012 Toyota Fortuner has its Suspension and Brakes upgraded; a four-inch front lift was done and a SUN 4x4 Suspension was used; also, the rear was lifted to four-inch was done via rear coil spacer and SUN 4x4 Suspension was also used; IRONMAN two-inch rear coil spring; JEFF'S OFF-ROAD rear lateral adjuster; for its front and rear shocks, a RANCHO 9000x1 brand was used; RUNSTOP front cross drilled rotors; and G2 Gear-and-Axles 4.88 gear-ratio for maximum torque for those tough terrain and need an instant brute of torque.


There is no major engine was made on the vehicle, however, an RV 4x4 Stainless full-exhaust was used from its previous factory set-up exhaust system.

And for its tires and wheels; NITTO Trail Grappler 295x55xR20 and XD Series Strike 20x10 -24 M.Black was used for maximum grip.

Toyota Venza to be export in South Korea

An automaker from South Korea made its success by following the footstep of Toyota when they are starting.

Today, Toyota announced that they will make their footstep in South Korea market by offering 2013 Toyota Venza. This will the first for Toyota that they will tap into Korean market.

Competition are more exciting; KIA Sorento vs. Hyundai Santa-Fe vs. Toyota Venza. Koreans will definitely experience an American experience on the Toyota Venza; vehicles which are assembled in the United States.

2012 Automax Car Show Event

Been a while that I attended a car-show event, too busy on website at same time posting news and content of new cars from auto manufacturer around the world.

When I got an invite that there will an event near at our place (the 2012 Automax Car show was held in Greenhills San Juan, in G-Strip in front of Libation bar), I already marked my calendar that I will attend this one.

Its raining cats and dogs when I am going and reached the event, thought it will be cancelled, at same time I am thinking to go home instead because of the weather. Told myself that the weather will not ruin my weekend for the love of cars.


After the rain stopped, all car-enthusiast went out to prepare their cars and to view those awesome cars.

It is a mix of modified, sound-set-up, tricked-out, and detailed to candy-colored cars which attracted the visitors who are also into cars.

Inside the tent there is a portable bar which you can order drinks and booze while enjoying the event.


Night comes and more visitors are coming to the event, one main attraction happened at the event is the roaring of Honda engines thought that Lions was released from the cage, exchanging of revs from one honda car to another.
