1972 Ford Capri in the Philippines

Thought I will never see a car like this in this modern times where cars is all about aerodynamics and computer boxes, but in my suprise that someone kept and restored this piece of Ford history. First it was a Vauxhall car, but when I checked the interior it was a left hand drive so this car is not from Australia. I asked the owner that this car is a 1972 Ford Capri still in restoration.

The car's interior, engine bay, and its engine are very simple compared to the layout of the modern cars which are very complicated and an engineer will definitely will figure it out.

One thing that I was impressed about this car is the msd ignition system as a standard, it means that this car was built for racing when it is needed.

2013 Hyundai Genesis in the Philippines

What do you know, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis has already arrived in the Philippines. Hyundai car fanatics and racing enthusiast will definitely impress on what features and specs of the new Genesis. I just saw the model on a carshow yesterday which was held near at our place here in Manila. All I can say that the car is stuffed with racing features and power on the engine.

2013 Hyundai Genesis: Engine

The said engine is still a V6 Lambda engine, dual-cvvt system. The difference? The new engine equipped with a GDi system; in short, the said engine is a direct inject which will provide better fuel-efficieny which is not availble on the previous Hyundai Genesis.

What I like about the engine of the Hyundai Genesis is that they added more horsepower on it compared to the previous model, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis has a 350 PS compare to the previous Hyundai Genesis of 303 PS. A very fuel-efficient car but still powerful.

2013 Hyundai Genesis: Interior and Transmission


The 2013 Hyundai Genesis now offers a paddle-shift and automatic transmission to the buyers compare to the old Hyundai Genesis which is offered in manual transmission. I think Hyundai is shifting their Genesis from the usual drifting roots to race-tracks.
The interior of the new Hyundai Genesis has this feeling of the old Hyundai Genesis, the difference of the transmission and the paddle-shift.
