2013-2014 Toyota Vios: Its Official

Now its official, Toyota officially launched the latest model on their Vios lineup, the 2013 Toyota Vios.

Toyota did a major overhaul by redesigning its appearance, the latest Vios follows the latest car design on those cars in Europe.

The 2013 Toyota Vios now offer the following features; on the aesthetics, Chrome grille finish, projector headlights, redesign tailights, auxiliary lamps, European standard Chrome finish door handles, power-window, power-steering, and 16" alloy wheels.


There is no confirmation yet if Toyota will launched a 1.3 engine displacement variant, but, the official engine displacement of the car is a 1.5 engine displacement; sad to say that the engine shares the same layout its previous predecessor 1NZ series; new design, same engine — still a new Toyota Vios there.


The 2013 Toyota Vios offer a redesign dashboard, compared to the previous Toyota Vios which has a simple dashboard and plain design speedometer, the new vios offer a sportier speedometer for those consumer who likes a litter push to the pedal.


There is not confirmation yet on when the 2013 Toyota Vios will be released in other Asian countries like the Philippines, but rest assure we will see this Vios in the coming future.

So I guess you need to ask your nearest Toyota dealer on when this model will be released; guys, just a tip, don't believe on sales agents that they are promising that the 2013 Toyota Vios is already at their dealership, be persistent to show you the actual model first and sign any documents later on.

Now its official, you are seeing the official image of the next Toyota Vios.

For those who have plans to buy a new Toyota Vios this year, then I guess you may wait for a while when this model will be released at the dealership.

No concrete information yet what is the engine will be used on this model but they already stated that the engine will be a 1.5 VVT-i variant; an introduction of a CVT will be offered on this model.

A familiar design that you can also present in the 2013-2014 Toyota Corolla and Toyota Auris. Having a sporty look, owners of this car will appreciate more on why they purchase this car in the first place. This is also a perfect replacement for your taxi, company car, and Police car if you are living in the Philippines.

It is said that this vehicle will be available in second quarter of 2013, but I think it will available on the third or fourth quarter this year.

Souped-up Toyota HiAce Commuter Diesel

Thinking of blinging your old Toyota HiAce especially if you own a fourth-generation Toyota HiAce or Toyota HiAce Commutter Diesel.

Here is a nice find that I took a shot on a carshow in Manila.


Having a simple detailing on the outside installing a 20" rims on a dropped height giving the vehicle a bling aura.


Don't be fooled with its outside appearance, if you will go inside, you'll be amazed on how the owner customized the interior from a simple van into an ultimate party machine.


It feels you just on a ktv bar; complete with liquor and pole for VIP experience.

Philippines Jeepney (passenger-type) Blinged!

One of the most popular public vehicle in the Philippines at the same time one of the most important key in its economy is their King-of-the-road Philippines Jeepney.

There are variation of Philippine jeepney and the Manila variation is one of the popular type of jeep.

Itasha inspired blinged passenger-type jeep
When I visited a carshow somewhere in Metro Manila; I easily spotted this unique vehicle, a passenger-type jeep, not because it is the only public-utility vehicle that was on the event or only one participated on it, but because it shows the craftmanship and creativity of the Filipino at the same time the owner combines different culture from different parts of the world; the itasha culture of Japan and the blinged or pimpe vehicle in North America—my apologies here, I am not promoting Patriotism here but I was impressed on how the owner put up a setup which is not common on other jeeps on Philippine roads.

Besides the Itasha inspired design on the vehicle and being a blinged on the outside; the Mitsubishi-Fuso 4D36 engine was also blinged and modified by upgrading its intake and having chrome finish on the engine head where grease and oil are very common to see on a conventional passenger-type jeep.

On its interior, front seats where replace with a racing seats for those drivers who wants that F1 experience, and at the same having a chrome finish on the dasboard; at the back, having that bling-bling experience which you can see in large size American SUVs.


One more thing that this vehicle gave me a WOW is having a chrome finished undeneath it; like the suspension and other parts that you can see below of the vehicle are all chrome finished.
