I am just wondering what happened to the Toyota Innova SR or Sports Runner because I don't hear any buzz anymore on this model; is it maybe a failure on Toyota's part because the stuff installed on that vehicle can be bought very cheap in Banawe. Quite pricey because of the accessories, what a marketing strategy there; least put some different stuff that is unique.
After Toyota launches their 2012 Toyota Hilux and 2012 Toyota Fortuner; once again they launch their facelift version of Toyota Innova, shall I say the 2012 Toyota Innova? Minor changes made where; headlights, front bumper, tailights, rear spoiler as a standard, and skirts around the vehicle comes as a standard; good for the eye compared to previous Toyota Innova Sports-Runner.
On the engine department of the facelift Toyota Innova, still 1TR-FE for the gasoline and 2KD-FTV for the diesel; the same engines used on the previous Toyota Innovas, don't expect too much for a new engine on this one.
The only thing that you will experience new about this Toyota Innova is the interior, seat configuration, and upholstery; other than that still the same from the previous Toyota Innova model.
I am hoping that Toyota Motors Philippines will bring this model here in our country, or if they will assemble in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, hope they will sell complete package. Well, hope to see in the road the new Toyota Innova or 2012 Toyota Innova.
