The all new 2014 Isuzu Alterra?

After the success of Toyota's Fortuner for the Mid-size SUV in Asian market, Chevrolet also launched their own 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the market which also gathers some loyal customers and creating sales to the company.

Now, Isuzu is also going to this bandwagon by unveiling their own product to compete with Toyota's Fortuner and Chevrolet's Trailblazer, the Isuzu MU-X.

The Isuzu MU-X — also will be called 2014 Isuzu Alterra in other Asian countries — is one indicator that Isuzu take its step in the mid-size suv category which Toyota Fortuner and Chevrolet Trailblazer are dominating in this market, and at the same time this is definitely a replacement for the current Isuzu Alterra which is still sold in the market.

One that I was impressed with this vehicle is that the Isuzu offes two option for consumer; a 3.0 liter engine that has a horsepower of 177, and 2.5 liter engine that has a power of 136 horsepower; all are running on VGS Turbo — shall I say a VGT turbo?

So guys, if you are looking for a new vehicle here and you are looking for mid-size suv in the market, if you are patient, guess you can still wait on this vehicle to be officially release in the market.

Hope Isuzu Philippines will bring this to the Philippines right away & delay like their latest D-Max which is still 2012 based model.

When Toyota and Mitsubishi release their vehicles equipped with Variable Geometric Turbo for optimal performance and maximum fuel-efficiency, that their sales increase. Isuzu was left behind with quite inferior engine technology that they offer to the consumer. Now, Isuzu Motors release their latest Isuzu D-Max that will compete with the two automotive maker, the 2012 Isuzu D-Max. 2012 Isuzu D-Max is now equipped with VGT / Variable Geometric Turbo, impressive move from Isuzu because they offer new engine to the consumer which I think it is good compare to the two competitor. One of the biggest asset of this engine is the introduction of the "Isuzu Insight" which will detect and analyze the vehicle behavior and driver's driving habit, to be more safer and more fuel efficient; similar to Hyundai's ECO system which is found on their new Hyundai Sonata. The design itself was carefully done using wind-tunnel technology which also use in F1 cars for more fuel-efficiency and performance, more speed low drag.
A forecast that this vehicle will be one of the most fuel-efficient among its competitor because of the technology they put on the vehicle. Another thing that this is a fuel-efficient vehicle is LED light is a standard. Available in manual and automatic transmission.

I recommend to all buyers, that if you are planning to buy a new Isuzu D-Max; I'll wait for this model. Hold first your money and wait for this model to be available.
