Honda's luxury line Acura officially launched their all-new vehicles at the Chicago Auto-show; the redesigned 2013 RDX and teh all-new 2013 Acura ILX Sedan.
2013 Acura RDX
Eventhough you can say that this is a facelift, I was impressed by using a new engine. The 2013 model will have a new 3.5 V6 engine that has a power output of 273 horsepower distributing its power on its lighter all-wheel-drive system, compared to its previous model of a 2.3 straight-four engine. The 2013 RDX will be offered in all-new six-speed automatic transmission with a new torque converter installed. The said model will be available in front-wheel layout and all-wheel layout.
New features on the 2013 RDX are new chassis technology, an Acura-exclusive Amplitude Reactive Dampers, and an introduction of Motion Adaptive Electric Power Steering system. 4-wheel independent suspension with a MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension will be its undercarriage - similar to the first generation Honda CRV.
Standard features are new 18" inch wheels and an improved 4-wheel disc brakes — included are Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist.

Now, for yuppies out there. Acura offers you a perfect car which will fit your taste and an introduction of that luxury car experience.
A selection of three engines to choose from; 2.0 gasoline engine for the entry-level, 2.4 gasoline engine for extra-power, and their debut of the 1.5 hybrid engine perfect for those budget concious consumers.
The 2.0 engine will have a five-speed automatic transmission; 2.4 engine will have a six-speed manual transmission in close ratio configuration, perfect for those track-weekend junkies; and a Continously-Variable-Transmission or CVT on their 1.5 hybrid model.
The car will have a MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension systems, with an Amplitude Reactive Dampers system, and a Motion Adaptive Electric Power Steering for better steering.
In my point of view, this will be a better deal because you are buying a brand new engine, at the same time you will have technology that will improved your driving experience and better fuel-efficiency.
