The 2016 Toyota Fortuner Officially Launched

I guess, this is the most anticipated mid-sized SUV which numerous spy-shot where all over social media sites and automotive website. Guess, what this week in Thailand, Toyota officially launched the 2016, The All-new Toyota Fortuner which will excite motorist and enthusiast because of the new look and new engine that will be by Toyota.

I love the new look of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner, that aggressive angry look that is similar to those US-Airforce A-10 Warthog/Fairchild. However, the vehicle have this sense that it was a mixed of Toyota Highlander, and Volkswagen Touareg — it is visible at the front-fascia; and lets not forget the "Made in Thailand" aura of the vehicle. Another feature that was added on the new Toyota Fortuner is the introduction of the Daytime-Led lights fitted on the headlights, which is very common on German cars and SUV.

The introduction of newer engine was introduced into the All-new Toyota Fortuner, they use the GD series engine which offers a 2.4, and a 2.8 displacement; both Inline-4; Variable Geometric Turbo; and Common-rail injection for fuel-efficiency. If we are going to talk the horses of this engines, the 2.4 2GD-FTV produce 150-horsepower, and a Torque of 343NM; while the 1GD-FTV produced 177-horsepower, and a Torque of 420NM. This engine variants will definitely will be offered in the Philippine market.

I unable to determine which are the amenities will be offered for the Philippine variant. The arrival of the Philippine version of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner will be somewhere early of 4th quarter of this year. Also, the new Toyota Fortuner will offer a 2x4 and 4x4 drivetrain in Automatic and Manual transmission.
