Vivid Racing has supported Brembo for a number of years.  Most recently, we have used and abused the Brembo big brake kit on our 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo.  In the past, we have not only used other brake systems from the competitors, we have tested them on the track and street.  Our experience is key to know why Brembo is better then the others.  Our other Brembo involved vehicle is our 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo.  This vehicle uses Brembo's new 2 piece floating rotor.  These rotors are a great upgrade to cars like Porsche that have large factory OEM Brembo brakes, but can benefit from a lightweight 2 piece rotor with McLaren hardware.



Brembo's GT (Grand Tourismo) brake systems combine the best of what they have learned through their dominance in professional racing, with the quality and longevity learned as a leading supplier to the top auto manufactures in the world. The goal was to provide a direct bolt on system offering race like performance with OEM reliability. The Gran Turismo philosophy is to achieve the highest level of performance with the lowest amount of maintenance and best possible longevity. The RACE systems follow the same direct bolt on approach, backed again with vehicle specific engineering, and now the highest level of race division componentry ever made available to the public. Their are many different applications available for vehicles.  Everything from 4 piston, the 6 piston monoblock, and even some 8 piston kits as well.  For those that require the ultimate in braking, Brembo's GTR (R meaning Race) systems can be custom built to the specifications required by the driver and vehicle.
