Honda City CNG - Asian Market

Prices of fossil will never go down, so automakers investing big amount of money to their Research and Development for a better dependent and fuel-efficient engines.

Asia is one continent that has an abundant source of alternative fuel. Automakers that caters asian market launched impressive vehicle that doesn't require fossil-fuel as their source of power.

Last month, Toyota Thailand successfuly launched their Toyota Corolla Altis that has an E-85 standard or 15 percent of Ethanol blended to its conventional fuel, which is impressive because of the potential tweaking of its engine that will run on a hundred percent Ethanol in the future.

This month, Honda launched their arsenal which defiinitely Toyota will run down on their money by releasing their Honda City running on Compressed Natural Gas or CNG which Asia has an abundant supply.

The Honda City CNG will still offer an i-Vtec technology which is also available on their other vehicle that uses conventional fuel. Its ECu or computer box will be the one determine and at the same time calculate the amount of gas that will be supplied on the engine. This will be the first time that an automaker offers a technology straight from the factory - the ECU I mean, very common that there is a gadget that you need to determine and calculate the amount of gas that will supplied on the engine.


At the trunk of the vehicle, you will see the gas tank that will store the high-compressed gas that will power the engine. Materials used at its tank was made of high-quality steel that handle high-gas pressure and at the same time time it has a capacity of 65 liters that will passed on pipings that will endure high-pressure that will come from the storage.

Of any case that CNG is unavailable, Honda City CNG is equipped with a system that it can use conventional fuel and other gases.

This is one of the most functional vehicles in the market that consumer will definitely be happy and driving will be more exciting.

All New 2011-2012 Hyundai Accent Taxi spotted

Since 2009 Hyundai Accent proved to be one of the most fuel-efficient cars in the transport business industry, especially in taxi and rent-a-car business, providing companies with a diesel-fed engines which other competitor or auto-manufacturer failed to provide here in the Philippines.

This 2011, Hyundai Motors yet again proved that their cars are very fuel-efficient with their All new Hyundai Sonata, research was done by J.D. Powers.



When I was along Malate just having a roadtrip, I accidentally spotted a different taxi parked along the road, it is not a Toyota Corolla Altis. I thought that was the All New 2011-2012 Hyundai Accent that was converted into a taxi; but, it bothers me that time because that is the all-new 2011-2012 Hyundai Accent taxi. So, what I did is turn back to that spot and take a look once again into that vehicle. To my suprise it was the all-new 2011-2012 Hyundai Accent taxi. I ask the folks around that area who is the driver of the taxi and ask him some questions about his ride, and also to take a picture of the said vehicle.

After taking a picture of the car, I asked the driver regarding the fuel-efficiency of the new Hyundai Accent; to my suprise, the driver told that the fuel-efficiency of the Hyundai Accent is the same with the Toyota Vios. Well, very impressive having an engine 1.4 displacement but with a fuel-consumption of a 1.3 J variant of Toyota, which is good for business and a perfect investment for those who will plan to change their old taxis, especially Toyota Corolla bigbodies with an LPG which valid until this year, mandated by the LTFRB or Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board.

When I heard that to the driver; I realized now that, this car is also fuel-efficient and made a right choice.



If you are planning to go into a business and want to venture on taxis, I suggest that you might try the all-new 2011-2012 Hyundai Accent. For those interested to go into the business, find an old taxi like the Toyota Corolla with a taxi franchise which is valid until this year, and the operator will not continue that business; buy the taxi with the franchise, and transfer the franchise to the new vehicle. I think they sell cheaper and less hassle.

One of the biggest asset of this engine is the introduction of the "Isuzu Insight" which will detect and analyze the vehicle behavior and driver's driving habit, to be more safer and more fuel efficient; similar to Hyundai's ECO system which is found on their new Hyundai Sonata. The design itself was carefully done using wind-tunnel technology which also use in F1 cars for more fuel-efficiency and performance, more speed low drag.
A forecast that this vehicle will be one of the most fuel-efficient among its competitor because of the technology they put on the vehicle. Another thing that this is a fuel-efficient vehicle is LED light is a standard. Available in manual and automatic transmission.





I recommend to all buyers, that if you are planning to buy a new Isuzu D-Max; I'll wait for this model. Hold first your money and wait for this model to be available.
