The most popular of all the Subaru models is the rally inspired Subaru WRX STI. This car first came to the shores of the USA in 2001 when the original Bugeye WRX was released. Vivid Racing was first in the market bringing over hard to get JDM Body Kits and Australian Performance Parts. Since then, Subaru WRX market has exploded and for the past 7 years we have seen 4 different body styles. With the capabilities of this car on the street, track, and drag strip, the Subaru WRX STI has been a performance car of choice for automotive enthusiasts.
Vivid Racing has built 1 of every body style that has come to the USA since 2001. Our first was the original World Rally Blue bugeye 2002 Subaru WRX. Next we built the peanut shape lights of the 2004 Subaru WRX which was red and featured many carbon fiber parts and a big turbo kit. Next, Vivid Racing built the 2007 Subaru STI which was featured in many different magazines. This car had a sleak Chargespeed Bottomline aero kit, Agency Power wheels, JIC Magic Suspension, and the Agency Power Turbo Kit making 500awhp. Finally in 2007, the new body 2008 Subaru WRX was released and Vivid Racing as the first to build this new GH chassis which debuted at the SEMA show. It featured a custom body kit, Enkei wheels, Cusco suspension, Agency Power rear control arms, TurboXS UTEC ECU, Agency Power GT30r Turbo Kit, and much more. This car was featured in Modified Magazine, Sport Compact Car, and Subie Sport.
