One of my hobbies is taking pictures of buses here in our place. Before, Hino Motors, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Mercedes Benz, Nissan UD, and MAN Diesel are the one dominates the Bus coaches here in the Philippines. Right now they have competitors in China and South Korea; Higer, King-Long, Yutong, and Jac from China; while KIA, Daewoo, and Hyundai from South Korea.

Here is some of the images of Hyundai Buses that you will see running in Manila Street. Hyundai models are Hyundai Universe, Space and Express; Hyundai Aero Space LS, Hyundai Aero Town, Hyundai Aero City, some locally built coaches with Hyundai Engines.

By this kind of business, Jay-Vee and sons will run for their money regarding school-service or school-bus business here in the Philippines.





Besides GT Express or UV Express, hyundai grace is feasible to be a school bus or school sevice. It is very popular in Philippines because of the affordable price and incomer earner for the common Filipino. All you need is a hyundai grace and a school-service franchise provided by the Land Trasportation Franchising and Regulatory Board. One requirement turning a hyundai grace into a school-bus or school-service, is painting the whole hyundai grace with yellow and black stripes, which is a requirement to school-bus, and other requirements by the LTFRB.

2 Hyundai Vehicles Entered at the 2011 Philippine Transport Show

May 29, 2011 - Held in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City from May 26-29, the 2011 Philippines Transport Show is a showcase challenging the Filipino car culture. It also provide a real exposure to the engine and sound modification, auto detailing and car restoration.

Toyota and Honda from Japan; Hyundai from Korea; BMW, Audi, and Porsche from Germany; Lamborghini and Ferrari from Italy - to mention a few, joined the show.

There are only 2 Hyundai entries at the event. The Hyundai Genesis has a descent inner and outer modification while the Hyundai Tiburon has a scissor door and a detailing done to it.

With a positive response based from a crowd of car enthusiasts who daily attend the show, it won't be a suprise if a similar affair will be scheduled again next year.
