Nissan Officially Released The 2016 Nissan Navara Sports Edition
Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI), the sole national sales company of Nissan in the Philippines, once again raises the bar for the Philippine pick-up market with its introduction of the New Nissan Navara Sport Edition.
Unveiled on this month at its dealership launch at Nissan North EDSA, the new Nissan Navara Sport Edition is the latest model to join the Nissan vehicle lineup, upgrading the trademark features of the 2015 Truck of the Year, the Nissan Navara.
“We are proud and very excited to unveil the latest variant of our award-winning pickup” said Ramesh Narasimhan, President and Managing Director of Nissan Philippines Inc. “Continuing the legacy of Nissan’s long pickup history, the brand once again exhibits innovation that excites with the new Nissan Navara Sport Edition, answering to the call of the consumers who are looking for a pickup that offers riding comfort, first-in-class features, and sportier look.”
Stylish, Sporty Exteriors
Building on the Nissan Navara’s already tough exterior styling, the Nissan Navara Sport Edition features upgraded design elements that create a tougher, sportier look.
At first glance, the Nissan Navara Sport Edition’s unique honeycomb front grille immediately delivers a striking appearance. Adding to this are the new front skirt and fog lamps wrapped in a new dark chrome finish, which give the vehicle an even bolder design.
The Nissan Navara Sport Edition’s side step and rear bumper are also finished with a new dark chrome, while a durable under rail bed liner and new sport roll bar with LED lamp emphasize the vehicle’s sportiness. Here's a video of the 2016 Nissan Navara Sports Edition:
Rounding up the Nissan Navara Sport Edition’s tough, sporty appearance are new 18-inch alloy wheels that are capable of taking on any terrain.
Premium, comfortable interiors
Inside, the Nissan Navara Sport Edition showcases a new, premium leather-wrapped steering wheel, as well as shift knob, armrest and door trims. Comfort inside the Nissan Navara Sport Edition is further enhanced by Nissan’s iconic air-cooling system with rear vents, premium sound system and ergonomically designed seats.
Taking its cue from the standard Nissan Navara, the vehicle still carries the Zero-Gravity inspired seats for both passenger and driver. These offer superior spinal support that greatly helps reduce fatigue during long drives.
Tough, smart performance
The Nissan Navara Sport Edition also features the first-in-class multilink suspension system that delivers car-like riding and driving comfort. Its powerful drive comes from a DOHC inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with Variable Turbocharger (VGS) and Intercooler, with a number of variants to meet each driver’s specific needs.
The New Nissan Navara Sport Edition is available in Riptide Blue and Aspen White and in the following variants in all Nissan Dealerships nationwide: 2.5L 4x4 VL 7AT priced at Php 1,656,000 and 2.5L 4x2 EL 7AT Calibre at Php 1,275,000.

2015-2016 Nissan Navara NP300 — Philippines
The all new design of the 2015-2016 Nissan Navara certainly gives an impression that this vehicle will yet again deliver the result that the owner needs, especially in rough terrains as the previous generations was famous for. Also, the vehicle comes with a DRL or Day Running Led Light for safety.
Besides with their signature airconditioning system, Nissan is also famous on their powerful engines that comes in a small package. I mean, their engine comes with a 2.5 Turbo charged engine — which is very common in the market today; however it cranks up to 190hp and with a monstrous torque of 490 NM, which it will provide pulling power whenever it needs. Having that on the details, the horsepower and torque are not commonly offered in other models; and Nissan offered that to the consumer. Having a small size engine will give the vehicle an overall reduction in vehicle weight, which will give more space to off-road modification, and having an advantage in power and torque. Also, the vehicle will be offered in 6-speed Manual, or 7-speed Automatic transmission.
Inside the vehicle, it has a calm ambience; even it is a monster outside, you'll still comfortable riding this when you are inside as the 2015-2016 Nissan Navara comes with 5" Display Audio with CD/Tuner/MP3/AUX/USB/iPod Connectivity; Bluetooth and Audio Streaming, and Vehicle Dynamic Control System.
You will never go wrong with the 2015-2016 Nissan Navara NP300; the Philippines most poweful truck that ever released in the market today.

Jose Gerard Policarpio Reigns Over The 2015 Nissan PlayStation GT Academy Asian Race Camp
Guess everyone in the motoring industry and car community in the Philippines are celebrating that a Filipino bagged the overall winner of the 2015 Nissan PlayStation GT Academy Asian Region this month held in Silverstone, in United Kingdom.
Taking the Trophy is not that easy as the Indonesian driver Andika Rama is a fast driver too. What happened it was, somwhere in lap 4-8, Joward — Jose Gerard's nickname, overtake Andika due to a fatal mistake when he overshoot an Apex.
This is where Joward started to attack Andika, when the car of Andika somewhat committed a fatal error in making a turn. Resulting that he overshoot an apex to giveway to Joward from the Philippines
You will see at the cam that Andika overshoot at the Apex that provided Joward an opportunity to overtake him until the last lap
From that mistake, the Indonesian driver is aggressive to take the pole position as he cuts his time to a 2 of a milliseconds driving Joward pressured. However, the Filipino driver keeps his pace and his rhythm calm until Lap 9 as you can see at the image below that they are bumper to bumper and neck-to-neck in closing the race. However, the Filipino reign supreme at the end of the race.
After that race, a victory party held at the 22 bar and resto in Jupiter Makati for the top 6 racers who arrived from the United Kingdom.
Wearing the signature Mustard Yellow which is the color of the car that was used in the race.
General Manager for Marketing of Nissan Philippines, giving a speech
At the end of the night, everyones is happy. Guess this is the window which dreamers who wants to tap and to be in the world of Professional racing.

Nissan NV-350 Caravan: Philippine release
Nissan Philippines officially annouced the launching of the next-generation van that will compete with its competitor Toyota's Grandia van and will offer more options to the consumer; Nissan introduced, the Nissan NV-350 Caravan series.
NISSAN NV-350 Philippine Release by easternmotors
Nissan NV-350 is equipped with a powerful with 2.5, 163 PS E-VGT Engine which can also be found on the new Nissan NP300 Navarra pick-up for maximum pulling power and to deliver heavy loads that can deliver from point A to point B. As stated on the engine, you will not worry of turning off the aircon while climbing the steep mountain of Quezon, Baguio, or Tagaytay which is very common to other vans that is sold in the market.
One thing that I can say about Nissan is that their legendary aircon. I think ever since that I began to be hooked up with cars, Nissan is already the king of aircons in the automotive market. Now you can experienced that with their new NV350 Urvan.
On the safety zone, the Nissan NV350 introduced the LSV Technology or Load-Sensing-Valve. A first to be offered in the Philippines where the it distribute necessary pressure on the brakes whether the van is loaded or unloaded. This is vital in the transport business, avoiding wheel-lock up, in other words, this is the ABS or Anti-Lock Braking system for drum-brakes, and for trucks and vans.
As stated by Managing Director and President of Nissan Philippines Antonio Zara; this is vital for those who are into transport business in the Philippines, especially Shuttle operators (Like UV Express) that Nissan Urvan is already proven reliable, passenger comfort, and most of all strong air-conditioning which is the important key in terms of public transport, van-rental, and van logistics or delivery.
Designed to meet the needs of entrepreneurs, shuttle operators, and family users, the Fifth-generation Nissan NV350 Urvan sports an overhaul to its design and key features, making this van the only competitor in the commercial van class in terms of power and comfort.
Since in the Philippine Mass-transit system is already a big inconvenienced to the public due to negligence on some of the staff in the Government, common commutter have no choise but to opt to UV express which can deliver from one place to another sacrificing convenience of riding one. Since we are dealing with the UV Express, LTFRB are now mandating the operators to have their AUV or Vans which have already aged 10-15 years in the service; Nissan NV-350 will be the best solution as a replacement. Also, NV350 will be a big benefits for the operators of School buses which are investing for a new unit before the franchise will be released.
The all-new Nissan NV-350 will be made available starting on June 15, which is today as we speak, in the following configuration and pricing:
18-Seater Nissan NV-350; the price will be at Php 1.196 Million
18-Seater Nissan NV-350; the price will be at Php 1.183 Million
