After the buzz that Toyota will launch the 2012 Toyota Fortuner and 2012 Toyota Hilux pick up that will be sold in the Philippines; at those times I visited the official website of Toyota Thailand, and there it was the images of the 2012 Toyota Fortuner and 2012 Toyota Hilux. This one time, I am just cruising around Ortigas I saw an HID light on a Hilux; I just ask myself; 2011 Toyota Hilux does not come with HID if you purchase one. So I assume that this is the 2012 Toyota Hilux; meaning the 2012 Toyota Hilux and 2012 Toyota Fortuner is here in Manila. Good thing that I have a time to take a look on these two Toyota vehicle and check the specification.

I am expecting new about the 2012 Toyota Fortuner; the first that I did is to look inside the engine bay. It was a suprise that the engine of the 2012 Toyota Fortuner is the same engine that was used on the previous Toyota Fortuner; 2005 Toyota Fortuner and 2008 Toyota Fortuner; a 1KD-FTV engine for 4x4 V Diesel, 2KD-FTV G Diesel variant, and a 2TR-FE G gas variant. 2012 Toyota Fortuner is just a facelift, they based the looks of the 2012 Toyota Fortuner to the new Toyota Landcruiser; noticeable headlights and its grills are chrome finish. I think, the looks of the 2012 Toyota Fortuner is similar to 2011 KIA Sorento which has a new and very powerful engine; standard HID headlights; new color for the seat, they made it dark compared before it was a beige on the 2011 Toyota Fortuner; headlight washer was added to the 2012 Toyota Fortuner; the new look of the rims which is similar to the Montero Sports of Mitsubishi Motors; other ammenities from 2011 Toyota Fortuner was also shared on the 2012 Toyota Fortuner.
