Honda Motors: All-New 2012 Honda Civic Asian Version
I was so curious because what is the new stuff and features that this Honda Civic is different from the previous version, which is a minor change in tail-light and front grille.
So there it was saw the 2012 Honda Civic, the first impression about the car is; the design is similar to US version of the 2012 Honda Civic. They made kinda boxier on the aesthetics, similar to the facelift version of the Honda Jazz. On the rear, its very similar to the Honda Accord, small version that is, and the front taken also from the Honda Accord also.
On the engine department, the 2012 Honda Civic will have two options; one is the i-VTEC 1.8-liter engine which will provide a maximum horsepower of 130 to 140 horsepower, and the other one is a i-VTEC 2.0-liter engine which produce a 150 horsepower; they are using a R series Honda engines again; thought a new engine series is gonna be release on this model. From I observation, that Honda is focusing on the fuel-efficiency of their cars, because of the rising of fuel in the market. Automatic and Manual transmission are available on this model.
If you are planning to buy a new Honda Civic, I recommend that you hold first your money and wait for the new 2012 Honda Civic, which will be sold to dealership. As you can see this is the exact image of the 2012 Honda Civic.

Honda Motors: 2012 Honda Civic Euro Version
Since Honda in the US already unveil their 2012 Honda Civic to the consumer; at the 2011 Frankfurt Motorshow, Honda unveil their 2012 Honda Civic for European Market. In terms of image, the 2012 Honda Civic Euro version is more aggressive compared to the simpleness of the US version 2012 Honda Civic. The sporty design of the car and the fender flares prevail on the car compared to its US version.
The front of the 2012 Honda Civic is quite similar to the front of the first generation Honda Civic FD, asian version, with the touch of the "angry look" on it. The designers of these car stated that they made a change; they lowered the height by 20mm, increase the width by 10mm.
On the exterior part, they made it more muscular, it is more a wind design type that is also used on the 2011/2012 Hyundai Elantra, which has a European standards; redesign the side-mirror for better airflow, the improved drivers visibility, and the rear window was lowered for the convenience of the driver when looking at the back.
The designers want their consumer leave an impression, that if they will see a the new Honda Civic on the road; the looks is compact and sporty, but if they are inside of the car, the interior is very spacious; same concept on the new Toyota Corolla Altis. Honda also focus their euro version Honda civic on the quality aspect; same principle used by Hyundai on their cars, as they focus on the quality and not having a plastic feeling once you get inside of the car.
The euro version of the 2012 Honda Civic will be available on three engine option for the consumer; 1.4 or 1.8 liter for the gasoline and 2.2 for the diesel variant. Six-speed manual transmission is available and a special five-speed for the 1.8 variant, a potential racing car in the future?
I hope the Asian version will also suprise their market with new engine and features, not a another facelift version compare to the present model.

Importance of replacing your old car air-filter with new car air-filter
Air Pollution is one of the most rampant problems in the environment today. Figures have it that almost two thirds of the residents in the United States believe that this problem has gotten worse. Recent statistics says otherwise. According to it, air pollution has significantly decreased over the years.
Much of this can be attributed to the fact that cars nowadays have modernized emission systems. Today, you’ll have to put 20 cars together in order to match the level of carbon monoxide emission a model from 50 years ago produces. That’s how big the improvement is! Also there have been certain efforts that the government undertook which greatly helped in the alleviation of this problem.
However, all these efforts will be in vain if you have a faulty car air filter since it’s the one responsible for keeping foreign particles from entering your car’s engine. Once these particles enter, it can cause great damage to it. We all know that air pollution is present in the air we breathe. But do you know that it can occur inside your car as well? Faulty air filters can affect the quality of air that circulates in the car. So if there’s an awful smell in your car or you’ve been coughing more frequently lately, better have your air filter checked.
If you don’t have the time or budget to have your air filter checked by a professional, do it by yourself. Since air filters are classified under replaceable parts, it is quite easy to take out and install. All you have to do is open the air filter compartment, remove the old one and put the new one in place. That’s it. Just be careful not to damage the surrounding parts while doing the process. And you’re all done.

Recall on Honda Cars: Honda CRV, Honda City, and Honda Jazz in the Philippines
Honda Philippines announce on their press conference about the recall on their Honda Cars; Honda Philippines Corporate Communications and Vehicle Sales Head Voltaire Gonzales said that they will replace the power window master switch assembly, its a voluntary safety recall.
The Honda cars or honda used cars that are affected on said recall are Honda City from the year 2006-2008 model, used Honda City; Honda Jazz from the year 2005-2007, used Honda Jazz; Honda CRV from the year 2005-2006, used Honda CRV.
The said problem was detected in Japan in 2008, where the silicon component on the air freshener or car cleaning agents destroy the power window master switch; the result is burning of the window switch cover which is very alarming to the consumers.
This is the second time that Honda did a recall on Honda Jazz and Honda City in the Philippines after they implement this last February. The total recall as of today is 20,000 on Honda Jazz, Honda City, and Honda CRV.
